Events involving Cummins Electric, Inc.

 

January 2006 - Cummins Electric was awarded the 2005 Richmond and Wayne County Chamber of Commerce Award for Excellence - Small Business.

 

June 2007 - The new Reid Hospital Outpatient Care Center is completed and ready for occupancy. Cummins Electric personnel completed the electrical portion of this project.

May 2008 - K96 radio station contacts Cummins Electric about joining their efforts to bringing an awareness of "Going Green" to the community. An assessment is made of the stations lighting requirements and they purchase new fluorescent lighting for the entire station which greatly reduces their carbon footprint. Ray Cummins donates time to speak on the air about the benefits of compact fluorescent lighting versus incandescent lighting.

August 2008 - The new Reid Hospital is completed and ready for occupancy. Cummins Electric personnel completed the electrical portion of this project and continue to support the owner as they grow in their new facility.

December 2008 - Cummins Electric donates LED Christmas lights to the city of Richmond and hangs them on the tree located behind the Freedom Fountain at the municipal building.

July 2009 - The renovation of the new Reid Hospital out patient care area for the new Robotic Surgery Suite is started. Cummins Electric joins with Reid to add this major advancement of surgical capabilities for the Richmond area.

September 2009 - Tom Cummins honored by Junior Achievement and inducted into their Businessman Hall of Fame.

Wayne County Taste of Home event held and Cummins Electric donates their services to connect power to the kitchen equipment for the event.
